How It Works The sensor collects temperature and humidity data from your wine storage area and sends it to your your on-line account via a high-speed Internet router. That data is then uploaded on a dedicated website (in your own account) for viewing. This dedicated website also allows you to: Customize your user settings including temperature and humidity measurement ranges and electronic alert notifications i.e. e-mail and cell phone text messages.* Create and download spreadsheets of collected temperature/humidity measurements for your records.** What It Does Measures ambient air temperature: -40F to 140F Measures relative humidity: 3% to 99% Alerts you via e-mail or cell phone text message if the temperature or humidity in your wine cellar exceeds your defined range; if your sensor connection is lost; or if your sensor batteries are low. Swiss sensor with digital LCD reading measures conditions with precision via a 6 feet. System can have up to 20 sensors. Sensor has a wireless range of over 200 ft. Comes with AC adaptor ethernet cable mounting hardware 20 foot waterproof temperature probe and instruction manual. Two AAA batteries required (not included).
